Child care assistance provides financial support to help you pay for the cost of child care. The Child Care Services Bureau pays some or all of your child care costs each month. The payment is made directly to your child care provider.
Who is eligible for child care assistance?
Any parent, grandparent, or legal guardian who is working, going to school, or in a job training program may apply. Eligibility is determined by family income and household size.
What ages qualify for child care assistance?
Any child between the ages of 6 weeks and 13 years qualifies. If special supervision is required, children up to 18 years of age qualify.
Who may provide care for my child?
You choose the care that is best for you and your child, such as a licensed center, licensed child care home, a registered family child care home, or a before-and-after-school program.
